2026 Electric Forest Thoughts

Obviously incredibly sad situation, for those who haven't heard. keeping the employee/employees in my thoughts because that has to be some shit they had to witness and go through and process. no one signs up for that, no one expects that, and no one can really prepare for that. 

how can we better festivals for the future. obviously festivals are great and create a memory for the fans and everyone wants to create best experience and memories for the music, for the fans, the festival, and the artist. 

With the fans of dance festivals, peds are expected, pretty much a given, with how much medical staff are staged as well as security to make sure the fans are alright throughout the festival. 

it's an unsaid given that the festivals are kind of safe space for fans to experiment and sometimes it results in the frat boys randomly moshing at a John Summit off a bean or in a hole, or guests doing Tina in the bathroom. with a mixture of uppers and downers and the sober, it can be a lot to navigate ....newbies, try and be safe!

EDM festivals try to create an atmosphere of PLUR for the guests and there are often unedited things that happen such as weather or ticketing lines, or safety risks, but no one could even think of this happening. 

yes guests should look out for other guests but also at festivals its important for friends to look out for each other and most important over anything is to look out for yourself, yes signal gets lost, yes plans fall through , yes weather can change plans, and you can loose your friends. make sure you are able to look out for yourself
