iHeartRadio Music Festival 2026: It is sad that a radio monopoly can still bully and make fun of musicians and their fanbase with their huge platform

-
Image
edited: So after hearing a iHeartradio host and whole radio program name-call and make fun a fanbase post show this whole concert thing just doesn't really feel right anymore.  I understand sticking up for your place of work because of upset fans and wanting to have a conversation about settimes and lineups but as the host stated himself, there was an agreed upon contract between BTS and iHeart.  Going on an onair rant about a fanbase and artist that iHeart has worked with for years feels unprofessional and with his cohosts just laughing along, agreeing with him is just mean.  Poking fun at an artists name not even trying to pronounce his name correctly multiple times, complaining about ARMY, telling them to suck it...It almost feels like there is still zero progress with how media in American media.  . . . . also ps, the hosts actively are dumbing down the concept of a variety show like viewers are unfamiliar, whilst billing and marketing the event as iHeart ...

The VMAs are so female dominated I love it, so many talented performer and you look and see how many of them are on crazy arena tours and stadium tours and soon to be festival runs. As much as there are rumors of awards being bought and paid for,  you can't fake an audience in person and it just shows how talented these singers are through dance, or video creativity or tour esthetic , they really understand understand their fans and how to evolve overtime.   The complete list of 2025 VMAs nominations: Artist of the Year Bad Bunny Beyoncé Kendrick Lamar Lady Gaga Morgan Wallen Taylor Swift The Weeknd ***duhhh and love that for her, she's literally going back on blade to MSG as we speak, talk about dedication, she can be two places at once, iconic.  Song of the Summer Addison Rae - Headphones On Alex Warren - Ordinary Benson Boone - Mystical Magical BigXthaPlug & Bailey Zimmerman - All the Way Chappell Roan - The Subway Demi Lovato - Fast Doja Cat - Jealous Type Huntr...

2026 VMAssssss: the Madonna / Taylor show

-

I feel bad but every Madonna song just sounds like Vogue part 2 3 4. But her bringing out Sabrina charlixcx made sense with sombr strolling by too, just gave the same vibe. Lisa with best pop didn’t know the song but she seemed super grateful. Knew others and thought Taylor or Sabrina would win but think this is fan votes.  Surprised Miley Cyrus didn’t do the tribute to dolly, Kasey muscraves also didn’t do the original I will always love you rifs I feel like maybe? But also I don’t know, I don’t have a good ear. @varietymagazine #KaceyMusgraves pays tribute to #DollyParton at the #VMas ♬ original sound - Variety   Kinda forgot about raye but her song is a banger, as is Bruno’s song just always sounds like every other song I know of his, wedding singer vibes for sure.  Saboozey preforms kinda feels like they’re trying to make him a reverse post Malone, starting off in country then slowly transition to a rapper maybe? Felt less country for sure Madonna...

unc fest was perfect minus the flooding the stacked sunday lineup was insane, from Dom dolla, into Calvin Harris into skillex, into Swedish house mafia, like they need to post on their website exclusive merch with that lineup on the back .  like how you saw pics of the fans with the evac video wall from the Chris lake x fisher under construction set! like if you take away the fact the night was closed, Sunday as much as it was an exhausting night, was a perfect lineup, @cra82779 @calvinharris @headtripindio #headtrip #edm #calvinharris ♬ original sound - ~~cara~~ @cra82779 @calvinharris @johnnewman @headtripindio ♬ original sound - ~~cara~~ @cra82779 @headtripindio @calvinharris ♬ original sound - ~~cara~~ @cra82779 @swedishhousemafia ♬ original sound - ~~cara~~ @cra82779 daddy #headtrip @skrillex @headtripindio ♬ original sound - ~~cara~~     @bryssarm grounds update! what if BTS does headline Coachella 2027????

So like if BTS does headline coachella which honestly could be a thing and  maybe their setlist has to be similar to big bangs right? similar huge asian boyband whop have been around for 10 yrs so maybe not the same size catalog but huge at the moment.  Like so half group numbers and then a handful of their solo projects. Sabrina carpenter did about 25 songs and did 23 with is the exact song count as its tour right now but the length of show is like 2 hrs not the 1.5 headliners get at coachella I think,  BTS' top youtube songs are Dynamite, boys with luv, DNA, MIC Drop, IDOL, FAKE LOVE, Butter, Blood sweat tears, Save me, and Permission to dance.  or maybe similar to gaga where like a third of her setlist was her new album and all her hits. so like probably Body to Body, Swim, Normal, Holligan, FYA, 2.0, Aliens or like animals, tho I love come over too. so it'll be like their Gwanghwamun Square Setlist then with more throwbacks? it was an hour long then add in solos....
