Not knowing how radio plays are sorted out for every station, some have playlists sent from corporate while others you can still pick and choose which go live to tape but below is a list of the different labels for WMRQ Alternative Rock Station.
It is well known that music along with other markets companies are becoming a monopoly and it has been like it for years. These are chart back 7 years (as of 2016) and now definitely with more growth. Wiki has an update for Sony, Universal, and Warner. These are pictures of the big 3 in the music space and below are going to be a list of plays at WMRQ as a sample from the past couple of months, the label breakdown of every song.

I would suggest up and coming artists to send demos and songs to college stations and universities to get exposure. Every year, huge universities throw college concerts for spring and fall before finals and this is perfect for legacy acts for publicity and even better for up and coming trending acts. My school did a survey which genre, acts and other to the students for best audience.
