Coachella/stagecoach 2025

2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival

There were a handful of artists who I had meant to see in Indio for Coachella and Stagecoach and others who I ended up at and as much as I have FOMO, I wouldn't change a lot of my decisions the past month for a lot.

Friday I wanted to see The Go Go's, MARINA, Tyla, LISA, Miike Snow, Parcels, and Lady Gaga. a lot of these artists I wanted to see because like LISA, I have seen her before and know she puts on a great show, Lady Gaga as well, and I wanted to see what her next tour would be like. Other artist The Go Go's, Tyla, and MARINA I know a couple of their songs and wanted to see them live. Miike Snow and The Parcels, I have heard great things about them both.

for Friday, I started off at the Do Lab, going to see Patricio, and J Philips. I truly believe you could just spend the whole weekend there, the vibes were amazing. Coco & the breezy I tried to see in the Yuma tent but the line and then ultimately getting into the venue didn't feel worth it so I went to check out the Sahara tent with Austin Millz. tons of fans, I sat on the hill for a great view and then made my way to see Maribou state, who were amazing live, new fan for sure. TOPS and Thee Scared Souls I checked out before heading into work.

For Friday night the first weekend I ended up missing MARINA which was crushing but caught some of Sara Landry charging my phone and stuff. I saw LISA's whole set, great vibes, huge fan base, walked around a bit and caught some of Missy Elliot. Watched a little bit of the Parcels while waiting for lady gaga and they felt like a vibe for sure and wished I could have watched them properly. Now lady gaga put on a show but also for the casual fan it almost became touch and go due to the dark vibes and song transitions. Lots of fans ended up leaving for Mustard on the other side. But make no mistake, she put on a show, it did have a handful of songs I did not know, but I am a casual fan. I do wish I went to the do lab at the end of the night after her to see the surprise guests...

Saturday morning I literally just saw Ed Sheeran and Jimmy Eat World. I do not regret seeing Jimmy Eat World and Ed Sheeran just bummed I didn't watch new artists that day. I did have a great spot for ed Sheeran at the barricade and Jimmy East World sounded amazing live and I was close as well to the main stage, but I wish I had more time to see other people, Sam Fender was an artists I wish I could see. Glass Beams, Disco Lines and Alok were all artists I was told to check out.

Saturday night I saw Charli XCX, Green Day, The Dare, and Blood Oath with Sarah Landry and co. Literally I think this day I had little to zero regrets. I walked around a bit, caught up with coworkers and saw great acts with amazing energy from their fan bases. There were many other artists that played this day maybe if I did a deep dive I would see if I had a second chance but over all great day. Green Day I had to have known like the whole setlist, The Dare was just groovy, Charli XCX I was not a fan but the fanbase was huge there and great atmosphere. I might be like into EDM this year cuz Blood Oath was awesome and the Do Lab like I said was amazing, I could have gotten lost in there for the whole day.

Sunday started at the Do Lab with Shima and Athena the to Tom Breu  . I saw a little bit of the beaches but had to go into work. shaboozey seemed great live, , I saw a little bit of Meute as well on the outdoors stage. Sunday night was Chase and Status, then Rudimental, who I saw instead of Zedd which was such a win because it was so not crowded. then I left for post Malone for the end of the night, even though I should have just went back to the Do Lab to see I think maybe Dom Dolla? I forget the special guest.

Stagecoach I was exhausted and only made it to a few shows , Zach Bryan, Tpain, Nelly, but I was hearing Sterile I should check out, the

Overall, I love discovering new music and vibes, and festivals and concerts are always a great place to find new sounds. For Concerts, don't skip the openers! they are the guys who are next up! like 5 years ago Post was opening for Bieber and Jelly Roll was an opener as well, where Stagecoach he was a headliner. It's amazing seeing artist growth! Like Alex Warren I saw for a free iHeart show a few years ago and he was a guest during Jelly's set, huge stuff for him.
