Morgan Wallen Dropped as Musical Guest w/ SNL

Now it would entirely be easy to divide the response behind SNL dropping country artist Morgan Wallen but honestly what seems to be the reasoning behind it all is that he just is not NBC's cup of tea. Now he isn't exactly a house hold name besides the modern country fan but even I have heard of songs Whiskey Glasses and Heartless with Diplo just by looking him up on Spotify. He's a good singer just not famous enough to skate by with this news for NBC. Ultimately I'm sure companies don't want the bad press and PR from hiring an almost 30 year old country singer parading around with the every sorority girl from University of Alabama during these sensitive times.

Now even take corona out of the picture, and still this isn't exactly a setting that SNL wants to give their ringing endorsement. He did state that he had tested negative but it seems that is beyond the point now. 

I'm sure every guy under the sun are queuing up to writing under the comments of this announcement would say they would do the same, really anything to go hook up with teenagers and college girls just the public eye doesn't always agree with assumed horny middle aged men. On the plus side, Morgan Wallen got the buzz I'm sure he had wanted from the get go out of this situation. Although a lot of media outlets could be skewering him for his lewd behavior, it doesn't matter really in the end because he still got his publicity. 

So going forward from this, ultimately he just has to learn from the past and move forward. I'm sure he's not the first singer with some popularity to go try and hook up with the sorority girls at every college and he's definitely not the last. Probably next time try with someone without their cell phone recording all the time or someone older and was born before like 2000.
