Kinda felt this years alternative rock stuff I hope will dominate next year. great songs even though some are poppy, lot of crossover from hot charts but airplay gave more new music it felt like. below are my personal favorites, I think all of theses guys are touring next year.
sombr, Billie and Alex are all giving pop but eh they were popular songs so I guess that's why there on the list. too sweet and stargazing are best songs.

Love the new music! One Eye Bastard was awesome and great live for Coachella as well, same with Mumford. I want Sleep Theory to blow up, the tone of his voice sounds super familiar I can't figure it out. They should book them for Warped Tour.
Love Apologies lyrics are kinda cheesy but love how gritty it sounds, there's not a lot of bands with drums right now. I miss it! Sad in Carolina is such a bop song, Asshole is awesome, as is Same Old Song because I feel that, such a generic song but catchy.

like I said, Apologies has kinda cheesy lyrics, but awesome drums, catchy. Bad Omens is great, Sleep Theory does need to be on all the Danny Wimmer festivals and Warped Tour stuff. Sleep Token was awesome and Ghost is having a moment as well.

The contract is way better than the line but the singers scream in the line is awesome live. 12 to 12 is kinda poppy was catchy. Stargazing is poppy but love the songs. Emergence is awesome, feels like a great live song. Too Sweet will be a classic, truly great catchy song.

Some new songs on this list. Neverender is a great song, Ritalin is a fun song, The contract was a great song this year. Even if it kills me, papa roach is still killing it.
Also Barbarian is amazing, felt super underrated this year and I think they only did a theater tour this year but need to see them live, seem like a very chill vibe, and Barbarian is such an easy song to listen to.
