There are a number of similar songs to the May-August 2024 top songs like Green Day, Sum 41, Michael Marcagi, Blame My Youth and others. Below are other songs I love during January 2024 through April 2024. 

A majority of the songs were one hot wonders through the years which makes sense for radio but here's new songs I loved during this time period!

These are songs I loveeee new song vibes, and songs that feel like very 2024. This year felt very alt very indie vibes and the list below reflects that I believe. Onlyyyy gripe is that maybe only Fall Out Boy might be the only artists I would consider rock, like almost pop rock. 

But the other songs are 100% indie which is fine but I'm understand the rock fans frustration when the charts and the rock nominees are all Zach Bryan or Noah Khan or Billie Eilish: very Country to me, very indie to me, and soooooo not rock maybe alternative for Billie but in no way should be involved in the rock category. 

I'll give it up to the top 20 though they all had major top rock bands, Sum 41, Green Day, Blink, Linkin Park, Foo Fighters Shinedown. I'll write about Billboards charts next.
