February Radio: Alternative Music 2026

 

More indie and alternative type: kinda hoping more songs come out indie like,  sorta a throwback trend this year like the 2016 trend! even like major mazer is at Coachella, bieber is headlining. 

Twenty One pilots did a cover of milky chances Stolen Dance at Innings Festival. There is that dance trend now too son maybe indie throwback should come around again. Like it does have to be like a whole Mumford and sons/lumineers trend again but that was a great time.

Mumford is touring again, arena and stadium tour, The Paradox are doing a mini tour opening for All Time Low, Rome is doing his own thing, Tame Impala is touring US/europe. Sombr is doing a Europe theater tour, 

These are new songs of February. Bleachers, does this mean Antonoff will focus on performing than producing this year? Young the Giants are touring, and Noah Khan was this the big game commercial that played? He has to be amazing live, great singer songwriter. 

 

More rock this year maybe? Papa roach is a great group of guys and easy to listen and honestly need more drum and guitar on the radio. love some toms. 

I'd love to see something super hard trending again, not a lot of heavy sounds have become popular in a minute, 

Other new radio music seemed to be from 2025 Bad Omens, The Last Dinner Party and Sleep Theory.Sleep Theory feels next up to me, like one of those next big arena rock acts. 

Dinner Party is super indie and Bad Omens have gotten super huge super fast the past few years. crazy how they're an arena act already.love a fanbase that loves live music
