Dan Tyminski: The voice behind Avicii's Hey Brother

 Dan comes from the blue grass side of the music industry who collaborated with Avicii on the hit song Hey Brother, singing along to just a key and a click track. 

Formerly involved in Alsion Kraus's Union station, he currently works on his solo projects.

 Avicii had a huge impact on the EDM scene bringing electronic music to pop radio and with his uplifting music like Wake Me Up, Waiting For Love, and Levels.  

After his passing, the community rallied behind his legacy for his Tribute Concert, there is museum named after him, as well as his foundation as a mental health advocate. 

There is a documentary and books about his time in the music space and his mental health and how the day to day goes being a busy musician, for sure overworked. Even still, ever since his passing, management has released his unfinished songs as well.

 

hopefully the songwriters and producers finishing the songs are honoring him when they released the songs, no one can ever know his version or point of view.

Avicii has touched the hearts of so many fans with his emotional songwriting and uplifting spirit. Legacy artist for sure in the EDM space, and a pioneer for electronic music in the pop scene
